What is SafePlus?
SafePlus is a voluntary health and safety improvement tool developed by WorkSafe, ACC, and MBIE. It goes beyond basic compliance to assess how well your business is actually performing across leadership, worker engagement, and risk management.
Who needs a SafePlus assessment?
Any business that wants an independent, credible view of their health and safety performance — whether that’s to satisfy a board, a major client, or simply to know where they stand.
What happens during an on-site assessment?
Sam will visit your workplace to conduct observations, interview workers and managers, and review your health and safety systems. You’ll receive a detailed written report covering your performance against each SafePlus requirement, along with practical recommendations.
