FAQs

What is a risk assessment?
A risk assessment is the process of identifying hazards in your workplace, evaluating how serious they are, and putting controls in place to manage them. It’s a legal requirement under the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015 for all PCBUs.

Who needs one?
Any business with employees. Risk assessments are particularly important when your operations involve physical work, machinery, hazardous substances, or when you’re onboarding new staff or changing how work is done.

What happens during a risk assessment?
Sam will visit your workplace to observe operations, identify hazards, and assess the likelihood and consequence of each risk. You’ll receive a written report with practical, prioritised control measures your team can implement.
